Erica Olson Designs
About
Erica’s approach to design is shaped in part by her previous career in public relations. She once used words to communicate messages. She now creates spaces to convey feelings.
Erica enjoys the problem-solving and research that are essential to interior design, considering each space as a puzzle, anticipating when it fits together with a satisfying “click.” She listens carefully to clients and collects information about what makes them unique. This process results in spaces that resonate with the inhabitants.
It's forming those connections with her clients that she enjoys most. Getting to know a family - their priorities, how they have fun, what they want to accomplish - makes for projects with the best results.
In addition to her B.A. in public relations from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Erica also has a B.S. in interior design from the Art Institutes International Minnesota.
