As my basement remodel was nearing completion, I had a few design decisions which needed a professional. Erica was the perfect match to help me finalize a few critical elements. She was able to accommodate my urgent timeline and she exceeded my expectations with her drawings, ideas and sourcing information. Her incredible ability to listen and to ask the right questions were reflected in her suggestions. It was a relief to have Erica jump into our project during final stages and pull it all together. Erica designed a wonderful lower level media room for our family. Out with the 1970's panelling, she designed a wall of good looking storage cabinets all along one wall. It included a recessed area for a TV that had custom doors to make the TV disappear! She sourced the most comfortable sectional couch that fits the area perfectly. Lighting is key in a lower level and she helped us think through a good plan for that. Her attention to detail was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend her!

Erica is a very talented designer, but what sets her apart from the rest is her personality, style, flexibility, and ability to think outside the box. All of the designers we met with prior to meeting Erica made me feel intimidated to express my ideas and embarrassed about my "low" budget (which was $10,000 - to me, a lot of money; to them, not nearly enough to get anything done). Erica took the time to get to know me, my home, my goals for design, and my priorities; and she truly cared about each of them. One of our projects was far more difficult, time-consuming, and expensive than we had anticipated, and she was persistent and determined to find an affordable and aesthetic alternative solution - and she did it! Her approach to each room in our house made the entire process far less overwhelming than had we attempted it on our own. And she clearly wanted us to have fun with the process, which was always appreciated. She was never pushy with timelines or purchases, but always kept us on track for progress. Erica was willing to meet with us on weekends, evenings, and by phone an email; very accessible. My husband and I are very pleased with our results, and Erica has been a pleasure to work with! Erica helped me with the interior decorating on the entire first floor of my home. She accomplished this in the middle of a remodel wherein all doors were replaced, all baseboards were replaced, all floors were stained and everything was in chaos. She did a great job. Her work included help with furniture selection, light fixtures, paint colors, hardware on new doors, throw rugs on the newly stained hardwood floors and window treatments. She was able to incorporate many of my existing pieces of furnitures by painting and repurposing.
Erica has been so wonderful to work with. I did have a problem with my valances in the living room and dining room. She came to my home, looked at them, agreed with me that they did not look quite the way she would want them to look and between Erica and the window treatment provider, they agreed to replace the valances. I was relieved and surprised. I have had poor results with contractors in the past and I was not expecting the help I got. I cannot say how much that was appreciated.
